Spring Romance at Middleton Lodge

May 2024

On a wonderfully crisp, early Spring day in March, we styled the wedding of Kate & Andy at the Middleton Lodge Estate in North Yorkshire.

The day was hosted in the beautiful Main House which is a stunning Georgian era country mansion, surrounded by lush gardens and views of rolling fields.

K&A's ceremony was held in the grand drawing room, and styled with abundant seasonal floral meadow arrangements in a peaches and cream colour palette.

Dinner and dancing were hosted in the marquee, which we styled with gorgeous hand made fabrics and Ester & Erik candles in beautiful complimentary shades, housed in our matt metal candle holders. Texture was a leading element in this design, and Kate really wanted to add tactility into the finer details. We achieved this by including salt flakes and freshly ground pepper in handmade clay pinch pots on the dining tables, as well as adding pieces of natural travertine to add interest and height to the candles and stem vases on the tables. Hand torn paper goods with a swirling font added a lovely romance to the look.

A truly stunning day and we're so excited to be styling at Middleton Lodge many more times in the coming year.
