Spring Wedding Colour Palette Inspiration

October 2024

Spring is the season of new beginnings (not to mention a beautiful selection of flowers!) making it the perfect time for a wedding.

Whether you're planning a chic affair in a city restaurant or a romantic day in a grand stately home, the colour palette really sets the tone for the day.

Here are a selection of our favourite Spring wedding colour combinations to inspire you.

Modern pastels

If you love pops of colour, modern pastels are a beautiful choice. Think peach, lilac, coral and blue set against a subtle backdrop of creams and nudes. The colours combined in this way keep the pastel look fresh and current, and this is by far our most requested colour palette. Elements of gold or brushed brass compliment these colours beautifully.

Peaches & cream

For couples seeking a romantic look, a colour palette of peaches and creams is (dare we say) timeless. Add in shades of blush and white, along with stems of blossom and scented seasonal foliage to create a quintessentially English garden feel. We love to add silk bows, ruffled linens and plenty of twinkling candlelight to complete this look.

Buttery yellows

Spring is synonymous with blooming flowers - sweet little daffodils with their yellow trumpets, heavily scented sweet peas and silky tulips are just a few of the gorgeous seasonal blooms. A gentle yellow scheme is so elegant, paired with classic whites and creams. Add a hint of the contemporary by including zesty greens; this could be from the addition of colourful candles or fresh fruits such as pears.

As your wedding designer, we will always recommend a colour scheme that will compliment and elevate the surroundings of your venue.
